Sarah and Jordan’s Wedding at Pemberton Gardens

November brought more than just the scents of spring to Pemberton Garden’s, it was the month Sarah and Jordan chose to celebrate their love surrounded by family and friends. Despite a bit of rain, spirits were high, and the scene was set for a wedding that was both elegant and heartfelt.

Behind the photos that captured the day was Susannah Blatchford, whose expertise complemented my own as I provided Sarah and Jordan with my Heirloom Wedding Film service. The beauty of each moment was immortalised: from the delicate makeup artistry of Stacey Banfield and the stylish touch of Monique Woods Hairstyling to the charming arrangements by Bourbon Rose Florist.

The ceremony, officiated by the warm words of celebrant Court McCulloch, was framed by the rustic archway courtesy of The Little Hire Company. This was complemented by the bespoke gown from Brides of Merivale that Sarah wore with grace, and the carefully chosen rings from Walker and Hall that signified their union.

As the celebration continued, the Cake Eating Company delivered a centerpiece that was as tasteful as it was beautiful. Movable Feasts impressed with their culinary finesse, satisfying guests as DJ4U turned up the tempo, uniting everyone on the dance floor under the Pemberton canopy.

This day was a testament to collaboration at its best, with each vendor, contributing to a seamless experience. The Heirloom Wedding Film captures the nuances and joy of Sarah and Jordan’s big day, ensuring that each moment could be relived for years to come.

Check it out for yourself now…

It was so amazing to have Rowan part of our wedding. He managed to capture all the important parts of our day, and was so lovely to have there. He fitted in seamlessly on the day, and was such a pleasure to deal with! I would recommend him to anybody looking for a videographer for their special day!

That Morning

For Sarah, there was never one moment that she knew Jordan was the one, because there had just never been a moment that she doubted it. The way he made her feel from the very moment that they met is something she has never wanted to lose from her life.
— Court McCulloch, Celebrant
She appreciates all of the little ways that he shows her love from taking care of her and doing things around the house that he knows she hates, even if he hates them too. Like taking out the bin because the smell makes her feel sick, or letting her have the first shower every morning so she doesn’t have to squeege it. All of the things, big or small, that he does to make her life a little better mean the world to her.
— Court McCulloch, Celebrant
When Jordan thinks back over the time he has spent with Sarah, it’s hard to pick a favourite memory because there are too many. Every moment, whether just hanging out and watching shows at home, getting a coffee, going on holiday here or there, and all of the general fun times that they’ve had in everyday life are all as special because of who they are with. He loves how kind she is, how thoughtful she is, and how beautiful she is.
— Court McCulloch, Celebrant
She makes him want to be a better person, always encouraging and inspiring him to be his best self, whether just by being her or simply as he admires her ability to do anything that she puts her mind to.
— Court McCulloch, Celebrant

That Afternoon

Sarah and Jordan, welcome to your wedding ceremony. I know that for you two today is of course about celebrating all that you are, all that you have done and will do together, and about becoming husband and wife.

But it’s also about having all of your favourite people in one place to celebrate with and to have the most fun day with.
— Court McCulloch, Celebrant
I’d like to ask you both to take a moment, a moment to look at each other and remember how it feels to be standing here together, and a moment to look out at all of the people here with you because it’s a moment you won’t want to forget.
— Court McCulloch, Celebrant
Can you believe it? Eight years together and I still feel like the luckiest person alive. Winning a thousand scratches couldn’t compare to the jackpot of having you in my life.
— Jordan, Groom
You can make me laugh on the darkest of days, and you brighten my day with the joy I didn’t know was possible.

I’m so proud of you for how hard working you are, and I hope that maybe one day your vast intelligence will rub off on me,

I love that you believe in me and you support me, no matter what, even on the odd occasion when I’m wrong.
— Sarah, Bride
Together, they’ve created a relationship where they support each other and make a great team, utilizing their strengths to help one another in areas they may not be as strong and bringing out the best in each other. Like in the way that Sarah is super organized and Jordan is not. Or how Sarah is slightly more high strung and Jordan is much more relaxed.
— Court McCulloch, Celebrant
